Safe Space Residential Homes is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing support within our Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU). The LPN will administer medications, monitor client health, document care, respond to medical concerns, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support client recovery and safety. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, monitoring for medication side effects, assisting with medical appointments, and ensuring compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, HIPAA, and Virginia Board of Nursing standards. Qualifications
- Current Virginia LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to recognize medical or psychiatric emergencies
- Valid driver's license preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Behavioral health or crisis stabilization experience preferred
