You will provide direct nursing care, supervise and support nursing assistants, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent resident outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct nursing care, treatments, and medication administration
- Supervising and supporting CNAs during daily care activities
- Monitoring resident conditions and reporting changes appropriately
- Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Completing accurate and timely nursing documentation and incident reports
- Maintaining infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Supporting a respectful, positive, and team-oriented environment for residents, families, and staff
- Following facility policies, nursing standards, and individualized care plans to ensure quality resident care
- Current, active Massachusetts LPN license
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff
