Nurse Position

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized nurse to support the review and clearance of pre-employment medical examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and company standards. This role requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency in a high-volume environment, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. An affinity for working with technology is needed to be successful in this position

Key Job Tasks
  • Review pre-employment medical examinations and related documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established protocols
  • Evaluate and clear candidates based on standard occupational health guidelines and clinical criteria
  • Identify incomplete or discrepant information and coordinate appropriate follow-up as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
  • Manage a high volume of cases while meeting turnaround time expectations
  • Collaborate professionally with internal departments, providers, and support staff to ensure timely processing of medical clearances
  • Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal compliance standards related to occupational health services
Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing in the State of Florida – RNs will be considered but at a reduced rate of pay 1-3 years recent clinical experience Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in reviewing medical documentation and applying standardized clinical protocols Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Previous experience with employee health or work-related examination processes Experience in occupational or employee health settings Experience in Maritime industry Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems

Work Environment

This position will be in-person, within a medical facility. Professional business attire is required. No scrubs permitted
