Licensed Plumber / Water Treatment Installer

We're seeking a Maine-licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber to install, service, and troubleshoot residential and light commercial water treatment systems. This position combines traditional plumbing work with specialized treatment technologies, offering a rewarding mix of technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and hands-on installation work.
Responsibilities
- Install and service water treatment systems, including water softeners, iron filters, UV systems, pH neutralizers, arsenic/uranium treatment systems, and radon-in-water systems
- Perform plumbing installations and repairs related to treatment equipment
- Ensure all work complies with Maine plumbing code and manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshoot plumbing, water pressure, flow, and water quality issues
- Handle permits, inspections, and job documentation
- Serve as a technical resource for other field staff
- Educate homeowners on system operation and maintenance
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and a clean, professional worksite
Qualifications
- Maine Journeyman or Master Plumber License in good standing
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and Maine plumbing code
- Experience with wells, pressure tanks, and water treatment equipment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in basements, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
