Licensed Pharmacist

To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time salaried Kansas Licensed Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe medication dispensing. Key responsibilities Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Provide proactive patient counseling on medications, addressing inquiries and ensuring adherence Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and manage therapeutic substitutions Required qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Active Kansas Pharmacy License in good standing Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms Bilingual Spanish preferred for patient counseling
