Job Duties

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess clients' needs and devise tailored therapy strategies that help them reach their goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply best practices to enhance clients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in unison with fellow occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers in therapy methods to ensure progress continues outside the clinical environment.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patients' improvement and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep them on the right track.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution
• Opportunities for continuing education and certifications are encouraged and supported

Certification Criteria

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
