Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

• We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee the daily operations of a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, MD.
• The ideal candidate will be a strong healthcare leader with experience in facility operations, regulatory compliance, resident care, staff management, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the long-term care/skilled nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements.
• Lead and support nursing, clinical, administrative, and support staff.
• Monitor resident care, safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, employee performance, and team development.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, census, and overall facility performance.
• Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections.
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator license in Maryland or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home administration.
• Strong knowledge of LTC/SNF regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• Background in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and survey readiness.
• Experience with staff development and operational improvement.
• Knowledge of resident-centered care and long-term care best practices.
