Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current certification as a School Social Worker

  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students

  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to assess student needs and develop intervention plans
  • Consult with families to provide resources and strategies that reinforce students' success both at school and at home
  • Respond to crisis situations and offer immediate support as needed
  • Deliver classroom presentations and group sessions on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and social skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to confidentiality protocols, and follow all district and state guidelines
