Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current certification as a School Social Worker
- Active state licensure appropriate for schools
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Knowledge of child development, family systems, and crisis intervention
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in diverse school environments
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to assess student needs and develop intervention plans
- Consult with families to provide resources and strategies that reinforce students' success both at school and at home
- Respond to crisis situations and offer immediate support as needed
- Deliver classroom presentations and group sessions on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and social skills
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to confidentiality protocols, and follow all district and state guidelines
