Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Health Hour Counseling Services, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, followed by the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans. Providing individual and group therapy sessions through online platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic interventions. Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in our electronic health record system. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for each client. Engaging in continuous professional development activities and staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clientele will primarily consist of adults facing various challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and life transitions. You will be tasked with fostering a safe and supportive environment, allowing clients to openly share their experiences and work collaboratively towards their therapeutic goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A master’s level degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited university. A current and active state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice as a mental health professional. Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills. Strong competence in written communication for documenting sessions and managing client records. An unblemished professional record without disciplinary actions by any licensing body. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following will enhance your application: A background in diverse therapeutic methodologies beyond CBT.
