Though our primary interactions occur online, we foster a sense of community through regular virtual team meetings and professional development initiatives.Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings to identify patients' psychological needs effectively and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide short-term individual counseling sessions via telehealth platforms, addressing a spectrum of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Facilitate engaging online therapy groups and workshops focused on themes pertinent to patient wellness, such as stress management, self-esteem, and coping strategies. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary framework to ensure comprehensive patient care by referring patients to necessary services. Participate in community outreach initiatives, developing mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events to destigmatize mental health issues. Maintain meticulous, confidential records of patient interactions, following all ethical guidelines and legal requirements to ensure compliance and uphold the trust of our patients. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with preference given to those holding a Master's or Doctoral degree. A comprehensive understanding of the mental health complexities experienced by individuals seeking care, particularly those navigating various life stresses. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a solid ability to connect with clients and engage collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief therapy models suitable for an online counseling context. Preferred Experience Demonstrated experience in a community clinic or hospital setting preferable, with a background in behavioral health services. Training in culturally competent care and trauma-informed approaches to therapy. Prior experience utilizing telehealth platforms and digital patient management systems is an advantage.
