We're hiring an experienced Illinois-licensed spray technician who can run a route, communicate professionally with customers, and deliver high-quality turf results.Why You'll Want This Job4-day work week (Mon–Thu) in season$20–$27/hour (based on experience)$2,000 signing bonus (based on experience, performance, and attendance)Season runs late February through DecemberWinter work available (Snow Removal, Holiday Lights, shop work)Accrued paid time offSafety + technical training, and clear growth path (Lead Tech / Route Lead)ScheduleTypical in-season hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–5:30pmSome overtime may be required during peak season (weather-dependent)What You'll DoApply fertilizer, weed control, and pesticide treatments safely and efficientlyRun a daily route independently (with team support) while meeting quality standardsCommunicate clearly with customers about services, expectations, and results (in person, phone, and written notes)Support service estimates and recommend needed turf servicesPerform turf-related services as needed: aeration, overseeding, seeding, and other turf dutiesSafely operate and maintain professional equipment and materialsDrive company vehicles safely (truck/trailer and/or box truck as assigned)Complete required documentation accurately (service notes, product use, safety protocols)Must-Have RequirementsIllinois Pesticide Applicator License — requiredValid driver's license + clean driving record — requiredAble to read/write and communicate in English (service notes + customer communication)Reliable transportation to/from the shopAbility to work outdoors in heat/cold and lift 50 lbs regularlyPreferred Qualifications2+ years lawn spray / turf application experienceCustomer-facing service experience and solid communication skillsComfort working independently and staying organized on a routeSigning Bonus$2,000 based on experience, performance, and attendance
