Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (required)
- Experience working with high school and/or middle school students
- Strong classroom management and organization skills
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse needs within middle and high school settings
- Design engaging, differentiated lesson plans that accommodate individual learning goals
- Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in adherence to school requirements
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, support staff, and administration
