As a Fire Alarm Lead Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial life safety installations while helping guide project success.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead commercial fire alarm installation projects from start to finish
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Perform panel installations, device programming, and system commissioning
- Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work meets NFPA 72 standards and applicable local codes
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams
- Mentor and support Apprentice, Helper, Level I, Level II, and Level III technicians
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL)
- Proven commercial fire alarm installation experience
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and life safety system requirements
- Experience with panel programming, device installation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
