Licensed KY Master Electrician ForemanAmteck is currently looking to hire a Licensed KY Master Electrician to be a Foreman Electrician for our service team in Bowling Green, KY. We offer long-term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K. You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor team members while ensuring a safe work environment and strict code complianceWork alongside the crew, performing high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshootingAssist in manpower scheduling and crew organizationDevelop material lists from drawings, layouts, and job-site needs, and communicate requirements to supervisionSupport production and budget goals by clearly communicating expectations and work plansEnsure all work meets NEC and local code requirementsMeasure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit using hand tools, threaders, and mechanical bendersInstall and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panelboards, branch circuits, and feedersDemonstrate working knowledge of circuitry and electrical theoryRead and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematicsLay out small work areas, including underground layouts, based on drawings and project documentsAccurately size wire, conduit, and junction boxesPerform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power systemsRequirements7–10 years of electrical experience within industrial environmentsProficient in reading electrical drawings, PLC wiring, and I/O-link diagramsStrong leadership ability with experience coaching teams of approximately five electriciansAbility to understand, plan, and execute a defined scope of workSkilled at communicating with other trades and coordinating shared work areasWillingness to learn and interpret construction documents and related materialsUnderstanding of customer service and maintaining strong client relationshipsIntermediate understanding of construction schedules and how to follow themAbility to learn and use BlueBeam, Navisworks, and similar project-planning softwareWillingness to participate in leadership and skill-development trainingDemonstrates strong communication, decision-making, and leadership abilitiesEquipped with and able to use required personal and professional toolsWilling and able to work project schedules, including overtime and weekends as neededDemonstrates strong teamwork, reliability, and safe work practicesPossesses basic mechanical aptitude, math skills, and the ability to read construction documentsWilling to participate in on-the-job, classroom, or virtual training programsIn 1977 Amteck was founded in Central Kentucky with the belief that growth only comes by listening and responding to both clients and employees.
