Key Responsibilities As a Telehealth Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily tasks will include: Delivering evidence-based mental health treatment to a diverse patient population, applying therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's unique needs. Conducting comprehensive intake assessments through telehealth, utilizing both video and telephone platforms to gather relevant patient history and establish treatment goals. Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on fostering strong therapeutic alliances with patients and encouraging active participation in their recovery journey. Administering structured mental health assessments and developing personalized treatment plans in line with best practices. Ensuring accurate and timely documentation following Federal, State, and organizational guidelines, maintaining high standards of recordkeeping for each patient. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, addressing a range of mental health issues— including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your expertise in culturally competent care will be essential in tailoring interventions that resonate with patients from various backgrounds, all in a remote format that enhances accessibility for those in need. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, coupled with an active LCSW license issued by the State of California. Commitment to evidence-based practice in delivering therapeutic services. At least 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, where you have successfully applied your skills in providing therapy and mental health support. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application: Proficiency in using telemedicine platforms and video conferencing software to engage with clients effectively. Previous experience in detox or substance use treatment settings is advantageous, aligning with our work at the detox center.
