Providing comprehensive psychosocial support, the full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker will conduct assessments, offer crisis intervention, and connect patients with community resources, working remotely during the hours of 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify and address emotional concerns related to cancer diagnosis and treatment Provide immediate support and intervention during behavioral health crises and significant changes in prognosis Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and advocate for patients' needs with relevant agencies Required qualifications Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid and current master's level license in the practice state (e.g., LISW, LCSW) Preferred certifications: OSW-C or APHSW-C Minimum three to five years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or palliative care Proficiency in using technology for virtual patient interactions and documentation
