Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy to adult clients via virtual sessions. Manage a minimum caseload of 25 clients, ensuring regular and timely sessions and maintaining therapeutic progress. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to address a range of mental health issues. Document client progress in electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated with industry best practices. Collaborate with our administrative team to facilitate efficient workflow and support for client care processes. Patient Population / Client Focus The LCSW will primarily work with adult clients, including those from diverse backgrounds and communities. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience serving the LGBTQIA+ community and who understand the unique challenges faced by men regarding mental health. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required. An active LCSW-C license for practice in the State of Maryland is mandatory. At least three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is preferred. Proficient in CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies. Possession of professional malpractice insurance is necessary. Previous experience providing psychotherapy to adults aged 18 and older is required. Experience working with minority and diverse populations is advantageous. Preferred Experience Experience working specifically with the LGBTQIA+ community is greatly valued. Familiarity with issues unique to men's mental health is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and adapt therapeutic approaches to individual client needs. Compensation and Benefits Our LCSW position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to USD 104,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
