Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)

As a Psychologist at Ellie Mental Health’s locally owned and operated clinic in St. Charles County, MO (St. Charles, Lake St. Louis, or Wentzville), you will share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community.
  • Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.
  • Actively engage in consultations with colleagues to ensure high quality care for all office clients.
  • Provide supervision to therapists on the team for qualified candidates.
  • Participate in outreach events and community partnerships as part of professional development, with director support.
  • Operate flexibly with options for hybrid office and work‑from‑home setups.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Clinical licensure required (PhD or PsyD).
  • Experience completing diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical case notes with weekly caseload expectations of 22‑27 clients (dependent on supervision).
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Must be able to work in Missouri with a Missouri license, or be relocating to Missouri and be license‑eligible.
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and prior experience with mental health documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems, or the ability to learn them quickly.
  • Passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care; thrives in a culture emphasizing autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance and determination.
