What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Psychologist at TC&C, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and/or couples therapy.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and prepare integrated psychological assessment reports.
  • Conduct ADHD, learning disability, personality, diagnostic clarification, and other psychological evaluations based on your areas of expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with Licensed Professional Counselors, Residents in Counseling, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and clinical collaboration.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical documentation.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of psychological services within TC&C.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in psychological care.

Preferred Areas of Interest

We welcome psychologists with experience or interest in:

  • ADHD evaluations
  • Psychological testing
  • Diagnostic clarification
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Autism spectrum evaluations
  • Mood and anxiety disorders
  • Personality assessments
  • Women’s mental health
  • Military, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program (or equivalent).
  • Active Virginia license as a Clinical Psychologist (or ability to obtain licensure before employment).
  • Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and strong written communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, collaboration, and professional growth.

Preferred:

  • Experience with insurance-based outpatient practice.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records.
  • Interest in contributing to program development and innovation.
