Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join the Evoke team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals across diverse backgrounds. Clinicians at Evoke are expected to utilize evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT, to promote mental well-being across the lifespan. Optional responsibilities that can be opted into include - team consultation meetings, school trainings, supervision of future trainees, and providing services utilizing a sliding scale fee structure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for clients with a range of mental health issues.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychology.
• Participate in supervision/consultation and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice psychology in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed clinical practice required.
• Experience in clinical settings, particularly with providing empirically supported treatment protocols including but not limited to: DBT, ERP, PE, and other specialty treatments.
• Competency in CBT is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience treating a range of disorders and ages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning.
