Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews. Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique challenges and aspirations, adapting strategies as progress is made. Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic techniques as appropriate. Document and track clients’ progress meticulously, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to promote integrated support systems tailored to clients’ needs. Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families, fostering awareness and engagement in the therapeutic process. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client care, share insights, and collaborate on treatment approaches, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve range from adolescents to adults, coming from various socioeconomic backgrounds and facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, offering guidance, support, and therapeutic interventions that are tailored to their specific situations. Qualifications Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. Specialized training or significant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic practices and client engagement strategies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with a diverse client base. A strong commitment to ethical practice and the confidentiality of clients, ensuring adherence to professional standards at all times. Preferred Experience Prior experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on outpatient care. Experience with teletherapy or online counseling platforms is advantageous, reflecting adaptability to modern therapeutic practices. Familiarity with community resources and support systems that can enhance client care and recovery outcomes. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
