Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist Per Diem

FULLY REMOTE

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the psychological and behavioral needs specific to justice-involved clients.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on reducing recidivism and promoting positive behavior change.
• Providing therapeutic interventions that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based practices.
• Working closely with probation officers, legal professionals, and correctional facilities to coordinate care and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Supporting clients in developing life skills, such as anger management, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences.
• Assisting clients in accessing social services, educational programs, and employment opportunities to support their transition back into the community.
• Tracking client progress and providing regular updates to the relevant authorities as required.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Developing therapeutic strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Providing counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Advocating for clients to access necessary services and resources.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans.

ELIGIBILITY

Medicaid and Medicare eligible.

Must be a licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD
