Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities Include:
Responsibilities
- Monitor, plan and implement the nursing care of residents within the facility under direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Ensure continuity of care of residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and support staff members.
- Participates in resident and family teaching.
- Serves as resident advocate with focus on the facility's mission.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualifications
- Current/valid Florida LPN license/registration.
- Previous experience in long term care preferred.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Effectively communicate with others.
