- Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents according to established nursing standards of practice.
- Care Coordination: Actively monitor and update individualized resident care plans to reflect their current status and needs.
- Clinical Skills: Utilize specialized skills to manage IV medications and perform complex dressing changes as required.
- Leadership & Supervision: Directly supervise assigned employees, including planning, directing work, and fostering a positive environment for employee engagement.
- Performance Management: Participate in the supervisory lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, and addressing employee complaints or problems.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to all laws, regulations, and corporate policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of both residents and staff.
- Communication: Effectively communicate and exchange information with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team in English, both orally and in writing.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current LPN licensure for the state of practice is required.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Technical Skills: Must possess the ability and proficiency to perform IV medication administration and dressing changes.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and the physical stamina to move, position, and assess information throughout the shift.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with basic nursing skills and the therapeutic effects/side effects of administered medications.
- Leadership Ability: Natural aptitude for supervising others, assigning work, and resolving problems within a team setting.
- Communication: Ability to accurately measure and comprehend quantities and instructions while maintaining clear, professional documentation.
