This role is critical to maintaining high-precision tooling, ensuring optimal mold performance, and supporting uninterrupted production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform tear-down, repair, troubleshooting, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of plastic injection moldsDiagnose and resolve tooling-related issues to minimize downtimeConduct mold modifications and improvements as neededCollaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support manufacturing goalsEnsure molds meet quality, safety, and production standardsMaintain accurate maintenance and repair documentationSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the tooling departmentRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on experience in plastic injection mold maintenance and repairStrong troubleshooting skills with complex tooling systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityPreferred QualificationsTooling certification or technical trainingExperience with multi-cavity or high-precision moldsLeadership or mentoring experience within tooling teams
