Level III Staff RN - Riverside - Obstetrics/GYN - Limited 2nd and 3rd OB Ultrasound - FT (40) - 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

About This Role

The Level III Staff RN provides professional nursing care in the Obstetrics/GYN department, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing processes.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Mentor and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.

Requirements

Education

• Limited 2nd and 3rd trimester OB ultrasound certification/training required within the last 5 years.

Experience

• 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in L&D, antepartum testing, FCC/Post Partum, OB/GYN, or Women's Health in an acute or ambulatory setting.

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate
