The Level II Staff RN provides professional nursing care in the Obstetrics/GYN department, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for bilingual (Spanish) nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on evaluations.
• Ensure effective documentation of nursing processes and interventions.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Mentor, orient, and coach others in patient care activities.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.

Requirements

Education:

• Registered Nurse License (California)

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in Maternal/Child Health, FCC, OB/GYN, or Women's Health in acute care or ambulatory care.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
