Requirements
Must have:
- We need 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or infrastructure roles, with MSP background strongly preferred.
- We require 3+ years of hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure in an enterprise or multi-client setting.
- We look for practical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure.
- We need experience supporting hybrid environments that combine cloud services with on-premises servers, network hardware, and desktop/print infrastructure.
- We expect relevant certifications, held now or in progress, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cloud+.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate is preferred.
- We need strong working knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender.
- We expect proficiency with RMM and PSA platforms such as ConnectWise and Auvik, along with backup solutions like Axcient.
- We require PowerShell scripting skills for administration and automation.
- We look for solid networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VLANs, switches, VPNs, SASE, and wireless.
- We want someone who is comfortable working with both non-technical end users and IT leadership or vendors.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required, as the role involves regular travel to client sites across New York and New Jersey.
- We need candidates who are based near and available for in-office work at our Staten Island headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- We want you to troubleshoot advanced issues and serve as a senior escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets.
- You will design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- You will administer Azure infrastructure services, virtual machines, and hybrid identity or hybrid cloud setups.
- You will deploy and oversee endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- You will use your knowledge of Google Workspace tools such as Gmail, Docs, Drive, and Admin Console to support client environments.
- You will lead cloud migrations from on-premises or private cloud environments into Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- You will implement security measures such as Conditional Access, MFA, Microsoft Defender Suite, and Microsoft Purview.
- You will support data protection, retention, and governance controls aligned with client compliance needs such as NIST, CIS, HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, and PCI where applicable.
- You will carry out security reviews, assist with risk assessments, and document findings with actionable recommendations.
- You will automate security monitoring and incident response processes using PowerShell and related scripting tools.
- You will provide hands-on support for Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, desktops, printers, and end-user hardware when on-site troubleshooting is needed.
- You will keep documentation current, including configurations, network diagrams, and implementation records for each client environment.
- You will evaluate and apply AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Security Copilot, and ClaudeAI to improve service delivery, security monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- You will stay up to date on how AI is affecting cloud administration, threat detection, and compliance, and share that insight with the team.

The position is based in our Staten Island headquarters and requires regular travel to client sites across New York and New Jersey.
We offer a competitive salary of $105,000 to $115,000 per year.
