Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Shelton, CT and provide end-user support. This role requires strong Windows desktop support experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. The technician will act as the local "hands and feet" resource for IT implementations and ongoing support.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide Level 2 deskside and remote support for Windows-based systemsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and chatServe as the primary point of contact for IT vendors during system implementationsAssist with testing IT implementations, including network access, wireless connectivity, and telephonyCoordinate and manage relationships between IT vendors and local client support teamsSkills and Qualifications:Minimum 3 to 5+ years of deskside PC support and customer service experienceStrong troubleshooting skills involving hardware, software, and network issuesExperience assisting with IT system implementationsHands-on experience with: Windows operating systemsBasic Mac supportDesktop and laptop imagingActive Directory user and device supportITSM/ticketing systemsMS Office 365 suite/MS teamsWage Range: The rate for this position is between $20.25 - $27.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
