About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer / Lender with expertise in SBA and USDA loan programs. This is a 100% remote role , providing the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. while building and managing a portfolio of business clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and close SBA and USDA loans for small to medium-sized businesses
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and community organizations
• Review financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and prepare complete loan packages
• Collaborate with underwriters, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely and compliant loan closings
• Generate new business opportunities and expand the bank’s lending footprint
• Stay current on SBA and USDA regulations, programs, and market trends

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a lender or BDO with SBA and USDA lending expertise
• Strong knowledge of business financial statements, credit analysis, and underwriting
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, results-driven environment
• Proficiency with banking software and loan processing platforms
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
