Auto-Owners Insurance, a top‑rated carrier, is seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Support Specialist to join our eBilling team. The specialist will assist in‑house attorneys in reviewing outside counsel invoices and undertaking related projects.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with Home Office Attorneys, outside counsel, and other divisions through verbal and/or written correspondence.
- Accurately input data into various systems.
- Interpret and apply verbal and/or written instructions.
- Maintain records according to established guidelines.
- Prepare and organize materials for special eBilling projects, including initiatives to improve team efficiency.
- Assist in developing reports and/or prepare requests for reports.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, time‑management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize among ongoing projects to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication with attorneys and business units such as claims, underwriting and IT.
- Aptitude for and interest in technology, systems, and legal operations and processes.
