Legal Researcher
Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you're available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.
About The Role
This role exists to support sound legal decisions through thorough, accurate research. You will investigate case law, statutes, and regulations to inform legal strategy. The work is primarily asynchronous, with clear documentation supporting collaboration across time zones. Our team is distributed across multiple countries, working within structured processes and holding zero tolerance for error.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research databases
- Analyze case law and regulatory materials to identify relevant precedent
- Write clear, well-supported research memoranda and legal summaries
- Track and interpret changes in relevant statutes and regulations
- Maintain accurate citations using citation management tools
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience conducting legal research
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and statutes
- Demonstrated writing skills for legal analysis and summaries
- Experience analyzing case law and legal precedent
- Working knowledge of Westlaw, LexisNexis, legal research databases, and citation management tools
- Strong written English — our company works in English
