Our client, a pharmaceutical company in New York City, is seeking a healthcare attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The Attorney in this position will provide legal advice and strategic guidance to support the company's pharmaceutical business operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing drug development, manufacturing, marketing, commercialization, and corporate activities while helping manage legal risk and supporting business objectives.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including:
- Clinical trial agreements
- Licensing agreements
- Research and development collaborations
- Supply and manufacturing agreements
- Distribution and vendor contracts
- Confidentiality (NDA) agreements
- Support regulatory submissions and interactions with government agencies.
- Counsel business teams on healthcare fraud and abuse laws, privacy requirements, and compliance programs.
- Review marketing and promotional materials for legal and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, licensing transactions, and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, with significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, healthcare compliance laws, and commercial contracting.
