Legal Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:Serve as a primary point of contact for a vendor managing charitable registrationsCoordinate and track registration filings, renewals, and deadlinesCollect, organize, and validate documentation needed for compliance and state filingsMaintain detailed tracking systems for contracts, filings, and correspondenceSupport contract processes, including drafting, editing, and redlining documentsPartner with internal teams to support contract intake, approvals, and documentationAssist with reporting and status updates for compliance and contract activityFollow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverablesLegal Administrative Assistant Requirements:2–3 years of experience in administrative, legal support, or compliance rolesExposure to contracts or legal documentation preferred (drafting or review experience a plus)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience in nonprofit or regulatory environments is a plusKey Details:Compensation: $35-40/hrLocation: Chicago, IL (Downtown)Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hoursEmployment Type: Contract-to-hire
