Representing and growing speaking opportunities for authors and talent, the full-time remote Lecture Agent will secure and manage engagements, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance authors' platforms. Key responsibilities Secure and manage speaking engagements, lectures, workshops, and event appearances for authors and talent Develop and maintain relationships with conference organizers, universities, corporations, and other event partners Negotiate speaking fees, contracts, and engagement terms while serving as the primary point of contact for authors regarding opportunities and logistics Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in talent representation, publishing, speaker relations, public relations, events, business development, or a related field Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, talent, and internal stakeholders Experience working with authors, speakers, creators, or other talent Bachelor's degree Familiarity with the publishing, audiobook, media, or education industries
