What you will do

As a Leave Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing and administering all employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while delivering a consistent, compliant, and employee-centered leave experience. This role serves as the subject matter expert for leave of absence programs and partners closely with HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and leaders to support employees through complex leave situations. Critical for success will be the ability to embody the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service.

Compensation and benefits information is provided for budgeting and planning purposes:

  • Salary range is $95,000 - $133,000 annually. Pay will be determined based on an individual\u2019s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits program, including Health, Dental, Life, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance, 401(k) plan, Legal Plan, and Identity Theft and Monitoring Plan. Depending on your position and location you may participate in a different benefit plan.
  • Paid time off: 15 to 25 days of paid time off and 8 paid holidays annually.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preference to HR; 3-5 years of HR experience with focus on leave of absence administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment (Desired)

This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
