Our client is an investment firm in Manhattan, and they are hiring a Learning & Development Specialist for its L&D team, supporting a wide range of programs that build skills across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Partner with L&D content leads and internal and external experts to design, run and measure programs in onboarding, mentoring, manager and leader development, written communication, professional effectiveness, and finance and technical skills
- Help create tailored formats, from group coaching and one-on-one tutorials to case-based workshops, written guides and AI-enabled simulations
- Lead sessions on topics where you bring expertise
- Manage several projects at once, taking each from initial idea to finished program
- Track developments in AI and recommend ways it can improve learning design, delivery, experience and business results
Requirements
- 4+ years of L&D experience at a professional service firm
- Financial services is preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Graduate study in organizational psychology or development (or a similar field) is a plus
- Experience designing or delivering L&D programs in at least one of: onboarding, manager development, written communication, professional effectiveness, or financial/technical xhqgsiq skills
- Genuine interest in generative AI and where it fits into learning design, content creation and daily workflows
- Able to learn new subject matter fast, synthesize research and explain it clearly
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and writing skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative style
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$165,000, commensurate with experience.
