Leaf-Rewind OperatorWe're seeking a dependable Rewinder Operator for a 2nd shift associate-to-hire opportunity in Tiffany Springs, MO. This position offers a Monday to Thursday schedule (3:45pm-2:15am) with weekends off and paid training on day shift for the first couple of weeks. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machine operation experience who has a strong attention to detail, values quality, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
If you take pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining safety standards, and being a reliable team player, we'd love to hear from you.Leaf-Rewind Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate rewinder equipment to process rolls of material into the required unwind position according to job specificationsContinuously inspect materials for print quality, seam quality, and other product defectsIdentify, remove, and correct defective material through proper splicing proceduresUtilize hand tools, including rulers, safety knives, and hole punches during splicing and production processesHandle, move, and palletize finished rolls while preventing product damageUnderstand and identify common printing, seam, and material defectsAccurately record production data and complete required paperworkEnter production information into company operating systems and databasesFollow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety guidelinesAssist with special projects and perform additional duties as assignedLeaf-Rewind Operator Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing, production, machine operation, or converting experience preferredBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to calculate label counts, conversions, measurements, and quantitiesAbility to use basic Windows-based computer applications and data entry systemsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environmentStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the work shiftFrequent walking throughout the production areaRegular use of hands and arms for handling materials, tools, and equipmentAbility to reach, grasp, feel, and manipulate objects and controlsAbility to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlAbility to regularly lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 poundsMust possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusIND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
