LeadmanADM is seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Leadman on a mid-stream stevedoring rig based out of our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) in Waggaman, LA. Lead and train contract personnel in operations and care of stevedoring production assets. Oversee contract personnel, but not limited to, housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and associated structures. Complete a variety of required forms electronically and on paper. Lead contract personnel in completing required documents.
Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Previous experience leading personnel in an operations environment. Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of the operations management. Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents. Computer skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports and documents.
Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending upon identified needs of the operations. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work in all types of climates. Promote the ADM Way and core Values. Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures.
Ability to work a rotating morning/evening shift, extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to: lift at least 50 pounds; work at various heights; sit, stand, kneel, crawl, and bend in various conditions; work in hot, cold or dusty conditions; and provide high-quality customer service.
