Summary

Strategic benefits leader responsible for designing, governing, and delivering domestic healthcare, wellness, and retirement programs. Combines analytical rigor with a service-oriented approach to simplify complex plan mechanics and drive adoption across corporate and hourly populations. Acts as a hands-on owner for major benefits milestones and vendor performance to optimize outcomes and fiscal health.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end design, governance, and execution of domestic healthcare and wellness programs.


• Lead annual open enrollment, new hire benefits journeys, and benefits education to increase adoption.


• Partner with Health & Wellness teams and vendors to manage high-cost claimants and optimize program performance.


• Resolve complex associate and leadership inquiries with empathy and clear communication, supporting dual-language dialogue when needed.


• Manage third-party brokers, PBMs, and TPAs using outcome-driven performance guarantees.


• Oversee 401(k) and retirement plan administration and lead fiduciary committee activities.


• Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA/PFL and California-specific regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading domestic benefits programs across corporate and hourly populations.


• CEBS or SHRM-SCP / SPHR preferred.


• Experience working with outside consultants and benefits vendor partners.


• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to tell a story with data.


• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and training skills.


• Proficiency with Excel, Google Suite, benefit administration platforms, and Oracle; familiarity with Canva a plus.
