We act as a key partner for our clients by delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and safety in all that we do.As a Lead Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for the overall daily flow of materials, which includes accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control across multiple Ledcor warehouses.
You will also be responsible for preserving a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that our internal and external customers receive materials required to support the project.Essential Responsibilities:Oversees inventory management across multiple warehouse locations, maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating timely replenishment of materialsOptimizes staffing, scheduling, and operational downtime based on business demands while maximizing warehouse capacity and material utilizationInspects incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities, assess material condition, and uphold quality control standards across locationsCoordinates fleet, equipment, and facility maintenance activities, including overseeing repairs and operating forklifts or telehandlers as neededMaintains warehouse cleanliness, waste management processes, and safe working conditions while ensuring compliance with established safety standardsFacilitates efficient warehouse operations through proactive resource planning, inventory oversight, and cross-location operational supportQualifications:Four or more years of experience working in warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environmentsDemonstrates expertise in managing inventory and materials across multiple warehouse locations while maintaining accurate stock controlProven ability to optimize operational workflows, allocate resources effectively, and minimize downtime to improve efficiencyLeads warehouse operations and logistics teams with a strong track record of coordinating daily activities and driving performanceUtilizes multi-location warehouse management systems, inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite to support operational excellenceApplies strong auditing, compliance, asset protection, quality control, communication, and decision-making skills while ensuring adherence to OSHA and workplace safety standardsWork Conditions:Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)This position requires travel between multiple Ledcor warehouses as needed (50 - 75% travel)
