Job Title: Lead Veterinarian at GoodVets The Gulch

We are seeking a Lead Veterinarian to lead GoodVets The Gulch. In this role, the Lead DVM will dedicate 80% of their time to veterinary duties and 20% to leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all team members deliver high-quality, safe, effective, patient and client-centered veterinary care that is timely, efficient, and equitable.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations on budgeting, staffing, and hospital productivity; review KPIs quarterly.
  • Supervise the implementation of medical procedures and guidelines to meet patient care needs and provide excellent client service.
  • Manage the Clinic Doctor Schedule to meet hospital and veterinarian needs.
  • Mentor and develop Associate Veterinarians through coaching, feedback, and case discussions, focusing on clinical skills, performance, and teamwork.
  • Lead daily morning rounds and organize monthly meetings to foster a positive hospital culture.
  • Partner with the Hospital Operations Manager to ensure an excellent client experience, including handling complaints.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts to attract and retain top veterinary talent.
  • Represent GoodVets within the veterinary community and the public.
  • Uphold and promote GoodVets culture and values among staff and clients.
