Head Veterinarian – Coastal Veterinary Care
Coastal Veterinary Care is a brand-new small animal practice located in Swansea, Massachusetts, just minutes from our sister hospital, Mass-RI Veterinary Services. This role offers a unique blend of clinical excellence, mentorship, and leadership , with the support of an established regional and national network. The hospital will open in Spring 2026 , and we’re looking for an experienced veterinarian to guide our team as we prepare to open our doors.
You will play a key role in shaping hospital culture, medical standards, and team development, working closely with hospital leadership and operations partners to create a high-quality, client-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff
- Establish and uphold high medical and ethical standards
- Help design workflows, protocols, and team culture for a new hospital
- Balance leadership responsibilities with hands‑on clinical practice
- Collaborate with nearby sister hospitals and specialists within the network
