The right candidate for this role has complete knowledge of Control 4 and understands the basic concepts of how audio, video, communication, and control devices work. The Lead Technician performs system configuration, calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as demonstrates mastery of basic wiring/cabling for low-voltage integrated systems.What You'll Be DoingInstall, configure, and service Control4 and other integrated AV, networking, and home automation systemsTerminate and install low-voltage cabling, panels, and junction boxesTroubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control systems—both simple and complexInterpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations accuratelyEnsure clean, code-compliant, and high-performance installations at client sitesCommunicate daily progress and issues to the Project ManagerAct as the on-site point of contact for clients, designers, builders, and architectsMaintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent conditionMentor and lead junior technicians as neededDeliver service that meets Daisy's standards for quality, reliability, and professionalismWhat You Bring to the Team2–5 years of hands-on experience with low-voltage integrated systems installationProficiency with Control4 systems; experience with Savant or Crestron is a plusStrong knowledge of AV, networking, and smart home technologiesPositive, customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethicExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead teams and manage workflow on-site effectivelyComfortable working independently and collaborativelyPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks such as kneeling, standing, and climbingClean driving record and valid Florida driver's licenseMust pass background check and drug screeningWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationTraining and DevelopmentCareer Pathways & Upward MobilityOur Mission and CultureMission:Enhance the human experience through smart spacesVision:Become the most beloved brand in technology servicesOur core values guide everything we do:Delight: Deliver magical client experiencesAccountability: Own your work with transparency and integrityInnovation: Embrace creativity to solve challengesService: Put clients, teammates, and partners firstYou: Celebrate diverse backgrounds and perspectivesAdditional InformationWe maintain a smoke-, drug, and alcohol-free workplace on-site and when representing Daisy.
