Senior Production TechnicianThis requisition is for two DAY shift Senior Production Technicians - $27 hourly.This job is Safety Sensitive Classification for state of CA.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Production Technician, you will be specializing in thermoplastics, foam coating, and spraying. You will engage in extrusion, spraying and blending technologies, ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process for optimal product quality.Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:Operating process related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe, environmentally responsible mannerOptimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions using spray rates, and coverage, ensuring proper electrical properties for coated foams and honeycombs.Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, costs, yield, environmental health and safety, production rates, etc.Adjusting manually operated equipment based on process and lab data.Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause AnalysisCompleting individual duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship.Job QualificationsRequirements:High School Diploma/GED or equivalentPrevious experience in spraying and/or blending technology, manufacturing, the military, or a related environment is highly preferredProficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word and Excel)Ability to perform basic mathHigh attention to detailFollow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operationThe following are preferred:Associate degree or higherOther technical or manufacturing certificationsIn addition, the following requirements must be met with or without accommodation:Willing and able to work the first shift (5am- 1:30pm), including overtime as neededWilling and able to lift 50 lbs.
