Lead Recruiter / Recruiting Manager

PMAA is looking for a proven senior agency recruiter and closer to join our team in Plantation, FL.

This is a player-coach role for someone who can personally take ownership of difficult searches, find and close great candidates, and eventually help train, develop, and lead our recruiting team.

This is not a management-only position. Initially, we need someone who can personally recruit and produce at a high level. As our team grows, the role will increasingly transition into recruiting leadership and management.

What You'll Do

• Personally manage high-priority searches from intake through placement
• Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, databases, referrals, cold outreach, market mapping, and creative sourcing
• Recruit across Engineering, Power Generation & Utilities, Technology, Accounting & Finance, and other professional disciplines
• Quickly learn unfamiliar positions and develop effective search strategies
• Screen, qualify, and present strong candidates to clients
• Manage candidates through interviews, offers, negotiations, counteroffers, and closing
• Work directly with clients and hiring managers, providing market intelligence and solutions when searches become challenging
• Train and mentor junior recruiters on sourcing, screening, candidate management, and closing
• Help build a culture of urgency, accountability, and results
• Gradually take greater responsibility for recruiting team performance, training, and development

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of recruiting experience preferred
• Staffing agency or executive search experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of personally making placements
• Strong passive-candidate sourcing and hunting ability
• Experience recruiting technical, professional, or specialized positions
• Ability to quickly learn new industries and recruit outside of one narrow vertical
• Strong screening, negotiation, candidate-control, and closing skills
• Experience working directly with clients and hiring managers
• Leadership, mentoring, or recruiter-training experience is a plus
• Competitive, resourceful, accountable, and driven to produce results

Compensation
