Lead, Tax Resolution Specialist III (Fully Remote)

• This Lead, Tax Resolution Specialist III role combines 70% hands-on tax resolution work with 30% team leadership.
• You'll work 100% remotely, Monday-Friday 9 AM-6 PM ET, resolving payroll tax notices while helping build the Tax Settings function.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work the tax notice queue, research root causes, and communicate clear resolutions to customers.
• Take escalated customer calls, perform quality checks, and coach team members with constructive feedback.
• Partner with the Tax Manager to develop the Tax Resolution and Tax Settings teams and define what good looks like.

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years of payroll or payroll tax experience responding to customer inquiries and tax notices.
• 1+ years handling escalations and 2+ years leading in a customer support setting.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax procedures across all 50 states.
