Lead Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Design Engineer to lead design activities for offshore and subsea projects. This role involves managing a team, delivering high‑quality engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structural design engineering activities across projects and tenders.
• Perform advanced ANSYS structural analysis and hydrodynamic calculations.
• Develop and review technical documentation such as procedures, reports, and specifications.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to define methodologies and resolve technical challenges.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Structural).
• 10+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering or subsea design engineering.
• Proficiency in ANSYS for structural and hydrodynamic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of DNV classification standards, ABS, API, and AISC codes.
• Familiarity with offshore engineering principles, risk assessment techniques, and installation analysis.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with rigging design, seafastening, and installation engineering.
• Ability to travel offshore as required for project execution.
