Lead Sr. Project Manager - Land DevelopmentRESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to provide project management and engineering services at our Fort Myers or Sarasota locations. The position will focus on a wide variety of public and private land development projects in the Southwest Florida area.
Projects may include commercial and mixed-use centers, residential subdivisions, municipal/public safety facilities and infrastructure.QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, a Professional Engineering (PE) Certification, and 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with project and direct report employee responsibility. The candidate should have competencies in:Coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies and design team members on an ongoing basisProject managementCivil site and grading designRoadway/transportation designUtility design & modelingStormwater management design and modelingConstruction plans and specifications productionFamiliar with Florida Dept. of Transportation design and permitting requirements for access and drainage.Experience obtaining necessary permits and approval for multi-discipline land development projectsProposal writing, budgeting and project financial managementWe are seeking a team player who strives to provide quality work, meet project needs, and deliver projects on time and who can work independently on multiple priorities.
