Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.FunctionsSelect the best methods to store the customers product safely and efficientlyEstimate the square feet needed for real estate to start a search for a building with the correct ceiling height.Industrial Engineering: process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, space planning and layout design (using CAD), index and scope creep measurement, and inventory & slotting assessments.Create warehousing workflows and process on how to receive, pick, pack and ship customer goods based on the requirementsBuild labor standards and align IT WMS to support warehousing workflows and processesSelect the appropriate material handling equipment to work with the solutionBased on solutions selected, price the solution in the pro forma.

Utilize Kenco Pricing model to process data, and coordinate with Real Estate, IT and HR for additional pricing data.Understand cost structures (Cost +, FVR (Fixed-Variable-Reimbursable), Unit Rates), Operations (shift structures, seasonality, direct vs. indirect ratio, staffing and training, etc.), and basic financial concepts and company thresholds.Apply labor rates of job classes to the hours from the processes and the rates for the management team and coordinators/clerks that support the direct laborAcquire costs for the storage equipment, forklifts, IT hardware, building improvements, etc.Adjust the pricing to the customer template. Obtain client profile data from sales department.Support the sales team with a description of the process, innovations used in the solution, and continual revisions.Present pricing proposals to internal and external customers. Present pricing information clients in a way that commands their confidence.Visit customer sites for gathering information with discretion and confidentialityAbility to assess the effectiveness of processes already in placeROI analysisReport billable hours to appropriate accounts in a timely mannerParticipate in operational auditsLevel of pricing complexity: Advanced.
